The Childsplay Clothing Liverpool Fashion Week: Emerging Talent

I’m still absolutely reeling from such a fantastic showcase at the Childsplay Clothing Liverpool Fashion Week Emerging Talent night. My throat is hoarse and my hands red from cheering and applauding the barrage of raw talent pouring down the catwalk including designers, models and musicians who combined to pull off one hell of a show.

A debut reconstructed menswear line from Stuart Bache featured tailored classics with a modern utility twist made effortlessly cool by stunning male models with enough attitude to sink a ship. Also a fashion week first-timer, the Japanese inspired women’s wear line from Rachail Tsai had me in a stupor trying to take photo’s and write notes simultaneously…think sleep over meets Pokémon fan-girl with a sprinkling of 80’s shoulder pads. Show-stopper!

There’s so much more to tell you about! You can read my full review at Purple Revolver now. Also if you tweet check me out @Katereillyjames for real time updates on the Childsplay Liverpool Fashion Week as it unfolds.

I took my own images this evening, feeling the loss of my talented photographer Alex Ford, however I think my trusty IPhone did ok under the circumstances. All my images from tonight can be seen here.

Huge shout out to Amanda Moss, Reece Ryan and Caroline Moore. Thank you for your support. You guys rock.

Stop by tomorrow to read about the Fashion trade and industry open event at the Marinar Bar & Grill. For more information click here
